In just a few years, Pietra Ligure has become a popular bike destination for bikers, with its huge trail network stretching from the slopes of Monte Carmo to the territory of Ranzi and Monte Grosso. International competitions hosted on its trails have made it internationally known: the first-ever Italian stage of the EWS-E and the Enduro World Series in 2020 and the EWS - E in 2021, consecrating the location as the perfect place to test yourself on an e-mtb. Pietra's trail network now counts many trails with a great variety of terrains and views that will thrill both those who enjoy technical climbs and long descents.
From beech forests to the Mediterranean scrub, Pietra Ligure is now a perfect location for mountain biking all year round, with bike-friendly accommodations, cafès and restaurants where to chill after a day on the trails, delicious gelato and the new Pietra Outdoor Base, the place where to easily plan and book your outdoor experiences.

From 1 to 3 June 2023 the streets, the main plaza and the promenade of Pietra Ligure will be the heart of the UCI Enduro World Cup. 40 professional teams are expected to set up a large athletes' village between Piazza De Gasperi, Via Matteotti and the seafront in Via Bado, in addition to all the amateur teams. Ready to hunt for autographs and snoop around the bikes of the pro racers?
Nine stages including two uphill Power Stages for the athletes of the EDR-E, the category for pedal-assisted bikes: this is the course of the UCI ENDURO WORLD CUP that will cross the villages of Bardineto, Borgio Verezzi, Calizzano, Finale Ligure, Giustenice, Magliolo, Tovo San Giacomino, putting together some of the best mtb and e-mtb trails of the Finale Outdoor Region. From the slopes of Monte Carmo to the trail areas of Ranzi and Monte Grosso, the course will offer flow sections, compressions and fast corners, challenging climbs, rough and technical terrain, and breathtaking views.
