CAPO NOLI LOOP - HIKING
A route that captures the essence of our Gulf: sea, rock and history, which have been intertwined here for centuries. From the village of Noli, we immediately enter the Mediterranean scrub, accompanied by spectacular views of the sea and the coastline that the climb towards Capo Noli offers from the very first steps.
The views gradually become wider and more breathtaking, stretching, on clear winter days, all the way to eastern Liguria, Tuscany and our two western islands.
Continuing on, we reach one of the iconic spots of this loop: the Grotta dei Falsari, a natural balcony suspended over the blue sea. The Pilgrim’s Trail then leads us through ancient traces of history: the ruins of old churches and ancient trade routes. We then arrive at the Torre delle Streghe, which overlooks the sheer cliffs of Capo Noli, the splendid beaches of Malpasso and the rocky landscape that has made this stretch of coastline famous.
The walk continues towards the Manie plateau, amidst Mediterranean scents and arbutus trees overlooking the sea, until we reach an ancient rural settlement, which has retained this character since Roman times, with the sun-drenched Isasco plain, a tranquil basin nestled between the mountains.
A circular route rich in views, history and nature: the ideal way to discover the Gulf of the Island from an authentic and spectacular perspective.
