SAILBOAT IN THE PELAGOS SANCTUARY
🌊Relaxation and the sea await us, as we are welcomed aboard a sailing boat for an experience with a difference: for a day, we’ll step into the shoes of marine researchers specialising in sea watching and whale watching, scanning the horizon for the backs and spouts of whales; During this special marine nature excursion, we will be accompanied by a biologist and certified Environmental Guide, with whom we will explore topics relating to the extraordinary richness of life in the Ligurian Sea: from sunfish to bluefish, from various species of seabirds to turtles, right up to the large cetaceans that live here year-round in the Pelagos Sanctuary. There will also be time to reflect on humanity’s impact on the marine ecosystem and what we can do to care for it.
In short: a ‘slow’ day awaits us, in tune with the rhythms of the natural environment around us, as we discover the extraordinary biodiversity of the Ligurian Sea – not to be missed!
