TREKKING: DARK FOREST AND FULL MOON, IN PIAN DEI CORSI
🌿From the Casermetta Refuge in Pian dei Corsi we enter the forest that witnessed important events during the Partisan struggle. Here a hidden trail leads to a strip of beech forest off the usual routes. At dusk, we join the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri and reach a fantastic panoramic point towards Monviso; further up, we find the shabby “Base Nato” (actually a former American base), from where we look out to see the sea as the full moon rises. We return back to the woods.

- Meeting point at 7.30 p.m. from Rifugio Casermetta
- At 6.30 p.m. aperitif (not mandatory)
- Return at 10.30 p.m.
