Valentine's Day on a sailing boat
Saturday 14 February promises to be a truly special day: slow rhythms, the hull cutting through the crystal-clear waters of the Ligurian Sea, with the wonderful panorama of the Riviera di Ponente before your eyes.
Nature becomes coast and sea: in a relaxed atmosphere, we will discover Liguria's natural heritage from an unexpected and privileged point of view. We will observe the coast and listen to the “voice of the sea” with special equipment.
Together with a pleasant aperitif on board, we will crown an unforgettable Valentine's Day.
Not just a boat trip, but a true rediscovery of the sea, this incredible universe rich in life overlooking the mainland.
We will depart from the port of Finale Ligure for a half-day nature excursion aboard a sailing boat along the Riviera di Ponente. During the trip, we will learn the basics of sailing and discover how to use the wind to move sustainably.
We will sail at a slow pace, enjoying the coastal landscape and the fresh sea air. With the help of a hydrophone, a special piece of equipment, we will be able to listen to the sounds of the sea live: distant boats, which tell us how noise pollution can travel for miles, or, with a little luck, the whistles of the bottlenose dolphins that live near the Finale coast.
We will conclude the experience with an aperitif on board, toasting together to an authentic Valentine's Day, immersed in nature and the tranquillity of the sea.
