NATO BASE AREA: TRAIL STATUS

We inform you that on Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March all the trails in the Base Nato area will be OPEN.

Please be careful on the H Veloce trail due to possible fallen trees.

From Monday 2nd March to Friday 6th March, the access road to Base Nato will be closed again. The area can only be reached by bike via the Partigiano trail.
Only the following trails will remain open: Crestino pt.1 – Cravarezza – Ingegnere.

Finale Ligure and the Finale Outdoor Region, renowned for their world-class MTB trails, hold a unique distinction: they are not just another bike park! The expansive territory, home to hundreds of kilometres of MTB trails, is open to all. But how do we protect this precious heritage, the culmination of years of dedicated work by numerous enthusiasts, from the potential damage caused by the frequent passage of riders?

Planning day-to-day maintenance work on the trail network is necessary for this fantastic treasure to continue. This includes tasks such as erosion control, trail surface maintenance, and vegetation management, all of which are crucial for the sustainability and safety of our trails. The only way we can meet the territory's needs and continue to offer some of the most enjoyable MTB trails in the world is by efficiently organizing the trail-building works.
