Bardineto B-Gravel: your next two-wheeled adventure!
The very first gravel randonnée in the Finale Outdoor Region is almost here... and it’s going to be epic!

Sunday, August 31st, get ready to explore the hidden gems of the Ligurian hinterland with three stunning routes – short, medium, and long – designed for all levels. You’ll ride along gravel roads and quiet backroads, far from traffic, through forests, ridge lines, and postcard-worthy scenery.

Start and finish in Bardineto, the green heart of the Region, with routes crossing through the beautiful villages of the Neva Valley like Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena and Erli, and the Upper Bormida Valley, including Calizzano, Murialdo, and Osiglia.

Gravel? MTB? E-MTB? No matter what bike you ride – this is all about the experience and the fun!

Make it a weekend to remember: we recommend arriving on Saturday evening to enjoy the camping area surrounded by nature (reservation required), with bathrooms, showers, delicious local food prepared by Pro Loco Bardineto, live music, and – for the night owls – a mini night ride!

How to get here

If you're coming by train, you can get off at Finale Ligure station and ride your bike up to Bardineto.
Alternatively, you can book a single uplift by shuttle from Finalborgo to Colle del Melogno by contacting our Info Point at +39 338 746 9962.

HOW WE MAINTAIN FINALE OUTDOOR REGION TRAIL NETWORK

Sustainable outdoor tourism means putting the territory first.

Finale Ligure and the Finale Outdoor Region, renowned for their world-class MTB trails, hold a unique distinction: they are not just another bike park! The expansive territory, home to hundreds of kilometres of MTB trails, is open to all. But how do we protect this precious heritage, the culmination of years of dedicated work by numerous enthusiasts, from the potential damage caused by the frequent passage of riders?

Planning day-to-day maintenance work on the trail network is necessary for this fantastic treasure to continue. This includes tasks such as erosion control, trail surface maintenance, and vegetation management, all of which are crucial for the sustainability and safety of our trails. The only way we can meet the territory's needs and continue to offer some of the most enjoyable MTB trails in the world is by efficiently organizing the trail-building works.
