On the path of beauty and sea-view history from Varigotti to Capo Noli along the Pilgrim's path.
Cliffside above the sea immersed in Mediterranean scrub, the path from Varigotti to Capo Noli is a unique and fascinating experience of beauty, culture, and nature, best traveled in winter and spring months, and approached with caution in summer due to high temperatures.
Starting from Varigotti, the first uphill part of the route is the most demanding, effort rewarded by breathtaking sea views. You continue among olive trees and Mediterranean scrub until the deviation to the evocative small church of San Lorenzo, which dominates the promontory with views of Punta Crena and Saracens' Bay.
Returning to the main path, you proceed to the Cerisola Mausoleum, a wall decorated with maritime symbols and lifebuoys, celebrating the sea life of Giuseppe Cerisola, the landowner.
Returning to the main route, you shortly reach the historic Witch Tower, dating back to the 16th century, built by Noli to guard the borders with Varigotti.
