- Area Finalese
Certainly one of the most beautiful routes to take in the Finalese area for a hiker eager to visit places of archaeological, historical, and natural interest.
A suggestive journey through history and the ancient daily lifestyles of past centuries, on a route that starts from San Bernardino, wrapped in a unique atmosphere, through meadows, ancient rocks, and old dry stone walls leading to Camporotondo, an enigmatic megalithic enclosure surrounded by the remains of centuries-old dwellings. Along the way, you encounter clearings dotted with rock shelters such as Casa del Vacchè and Cerisola, arriving at the evocative Ciappo delle Conche, enriched with primitive carvings and water pools. After a nature-immersed lunch, the return follows ancient terraces, witnesses to human presence, until returning to the starting point, San Bernardino.
