Finalborgo surprises at every step, sometimes intimidating if you remember its past, the seat of the Del Carretto Marquisate. Even from the outside, contemplating the mighty walls, you get a sense of the glorious past and the joyful present. The bars, restaurants, the characteristic artisan shops guarding ancient crafts, the stores specialized in outdoor sports scattered among alleys, squares, and small squares make it a lively, welcoming village, where bikers swarm in from a thousand countries to ride along the paths of history and nature, and lovers of art and culture meet.

CHIOSTRI DI SANTA CATERINA
Built at the end of the 15th century, thanks to the intervention of Carlo Domenico Del Carretto, who became Cardinal of Finale in 1505, with the elegant columns and stone capitals of Finale they are a perfect example of Renaissance architecture.
CHAPEL OF SANTA MARIA DEGLI OLIVERI
The cycle of frescoes in the chapel of Santa Maria degli Oliveri, in the right apse part of the Dominican church of Santa Caterina in Finalborgo, is one of the most important examples of medieval painting in Liguria.
PALAZZO DEL TRIBUNALE
Remembered since the Middle Ages as the "palace where justice was administered," Palazzo del Tribunale is a beautiful example of "architecture of power," today home to a museum where workshops and theatrical activities are held.
TEATRO AYCARDI
A sober façade painted with false architectures on the curved front of the homonymous square hides the oldest 19th-century theater preserved in Liguria. A small gem expressing the flourishing social and cultural life of the time.
BASILICA DI SAN BIAGIO
One of the most splendid Baroque churches of the western Liguria for the richness of its marbles and the works of art preserved inside, such as the original white marble pulpit and the balustrade with angels.
