Il Golfo dell’Isola: Il Monte Mao e la Panchina Gigante del Golfo
A spectacular route, often used by Golden Trail athletes, offering breathtaking views of the sea.
It starts in Spotorno and follows the ancient Roman road, which climbs steeply to Punta del Monte Mao.
Just before the summit, a stop at the Giant Bench allows you to admire the entire Gulf from above.
From Monte Mao, continue along another scenic trail, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, skirting Monte Sant'Elena until you reach the paragliding take-off point.
After a splendid panoramic break, the route descends towards Bergeggi and then returns to Spotorno, completing a loop rich in nature and views.
