LA PENTOLA DELLA STREGA a Rialto
Excursion to discover edible wild plants in early spring: where to find them, how to recognise them with certainty, how to harvest and cook them. The route winds through the paths and districts of Rialto; details will be updated as soon as possible, based on the herbs available (and the location of the ongoing fibre construction sites...). The experience includes tastings prepared with wild herbs.
Location and times:
Meet at 3 p.m. in Rialto (the exact location will be specified when the route is updated), returning at around 6 p.m.
In case of bad weather, the excursion may be postponed to Sunday.
Technical details:
Duration: 3.5 hours, including stops
Length: approximately 4km
Elevation gain: 150m
Difficulty: easy hiking (E), with sections on dirt and paved roads (T/E)
Required: trainers or hiking/trail shoes, comfortable layered clothing for walking, walking sticks for those accustomed to using them, water, fork and glass for tastings (we limit the use of disposable items!).
