MISSIONE FOSSILI A BALESTRINO
Travelling workshop for children and adults. From the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Peace, we will reach the panoramic Pizzo Ceresa where, proceeding in a secret direction, we will find and observe fossils hidden among the rocks. On the way back, we will climb and explore the nineteenth-century fort of Poggio Grande.
Location and times:
Meet at 9:00 at the Sanctuary of Balestrino, return at approximately 12:30.
In case of bad weather, the excursion may be postponed.

Elevation gain: 170m
Difficulty: medium-easy hiking (E)
Required: hiking/trail shoes, comfortable walking clothes, walking sticks for those who are used to using them, water.
