It’s not just riding. it’s a way of life. Backcountry Finale is more than just a bike tour: it’s a full experience that lets you discover the true soul of the Finalese and its Region, on two wheels and beyond.
It all started a few years ago, when Alessandro, Filippo and Luca — three friends brought together by a love for the mountains and the outdoors — decided to turn their lifestyle into a shared project. Their goal? To let people experience Finale Ligure the way they do: as a constant adventure, made of discovery, connection and deep respect for nature.
Over time, the family has grown, but the original spirit remains unchanged.
Today, Backcountry Finale is a solid, passionate crew of certified guides who know every trail, hidden corner and rewarding detour. Alongside them, experienced drivers make sure riders move smoothly and safely from one spot to another, enjoying the day with complete freedom.
The trails are diverse and never boring: natural, technical lines, but also flowy, fun sections built for letting go and riding the terrain. Every outing is tailored to the rider’s level and their thirst for exploration.
But the adventure doesn’t stop when the riding ends.
With Backcountry Finale, the day starts on the bike but expands to everything that makes this place special, the flavors, the people, the stories. Between one trail and the next, there’s always time for a homemade gelato in a hilltop village or a proper lunch with the king of the mountain.
And most days end the same way: with a beer in good company.
Because every descent deserves to be told, and every ride is better when it’s shared.
