From panoramic sections to very fun lines among cork trees

Montegrosso area. You can access it from Tovo S. Giacomo and more: you can go higher, in the area of the gas pipeline, which offers a wonderful view over all of Pietra Ligure, or follow the indication of the trail of Sugheri to avoid the demanding access climb more dedicated to e-Bikes.

The trail starts with turns and straights on rocky terrain, little and low vegetation, then enters a forest of very ancient cork oaks that change the porosity and grip of the terrain. Wide turns make the fun route slide towards Pietra Ligure near the Maremola river.

During times of drought avoid lighting fires, choose suitable trails avoiding those in the pine forest and favouring those with alternative routes for going back.

HOW WE MAINTAIN FINALE OUTDOOR REGION TRAIL NETWORK

Sustainable outdoor tourism means putting the territory first.

Finale Ligure and the Finale Outdoor Region, renowned for their world-class MTB trails, hold a unique distinction: they are not just another bike park! The expansive territory, home to hundreds of kilometres of MTB trails, is open to all. But how do we protect this precious heritage, the culmination of years of dedicated work by numerous enthusiasts, from the potential damage caused by the frequent passage of riders?

Planning day-to-day maintenance work on the trail network is necessary for this fantastic treasure to continue. This includes tasks such as erosion control, trail surface maintenance, and vegetation management, all of which are crucial for the sustainability and safety of our trails. The only way we can meet the territory's needs and continue to offer some of the most enjoyable MTB trails in the world is by efficiently organizing the trail-building works.
