TREKKING: LA VIA DEI CARRI MATTI - FROM BORGIO
🌿From the sea to the Church of San Martino, a journey through the old quarries where Pietra di Verezzi stone was extracted by hand, and along the network of trails used to transport stone blocks and semi-finished pieces on special carts, tackling the steep slopes overlooking the sea.
The route starts from the coast and follows the Cornice, through the Rio Fine valley, to San Martino and finally Cava Vecchia.
