First trail ever built in Nato Base

One of the first trails built in the Nato Base area. The longest trail of the 4 that roll down straight from the Base itself, and one of the most fun. Fast lines, banks, tiny jumps and a lot of flow, definitely a must-ride of the area.

Lines are different now ccompared to the original version. What Fulvio Balbi created around 20 years ago is still a masterpiece

The cool scenery of the Nato Base is a great introduction to the very fun trails that lay ahead.

During times of drought avoid lighting fires, choose suitable trails avoiding those in the pine forest and favouring those with alternative routes for going back.

HOW DO WE TAKE CARE OF THE MTB TRAILS IN THE FINALE OUTDOOR REGION

Sustainable outdoor tourism means putting the territory first.

Finale Ligure and the Finale Outdoor Region are world-famous for their incredible MTB trails, but there is something that makes this place pretty unique: the Finale area is not a bike park!

The territory where hundreds of kilometres of MTB trails develop is vast; everyone can access the trails freely. So how do we ensure that the passage of so many riders does not irreversibly damage this invaluable heritage, resulting from years of work of many passionate people? Planning day-to-day maintenance work on the trail network is necessary for this amazing treasure to continue. The only way we can meet the territory needs and continue to offer you all some of the most enjoyable MTB trails in the world is by efficiently organizing the trail-building works.

Resources are crucial if we are to achieve our goal. You can contribute to our project by supporting the work of the Trail Builders and all the professionals and volunteers who work to maintain and enhance our wonderful territory. How?

You already have the For You Card, right? If you want to help some more, for each euro you donate, you will receive 100 extra points on your Card and contribute to 1 meter of trail maintenance!
