Triple loop route to explore all areas of Bardineto.
The route, consisting of three loops, explores three different areas of the Bardineto territory. The first part is on a dirt road that after 11 hairpin bends leads uphill to the locality Scorezzà: from here it continues flat or gently sloping to Catalano, then crosses the Acquetta forest and arrives at the panoramic point of Monte Mezzano. At this point, the road becomes a trail winding through the wild valley of the Rio Avioai, emerging near the inhabited area in the locality Castello. The second part follows the SP1 heading to Borghetto, running alongside it through the woods to Giogo di Toirano, where it crosses it to join the Alta Via: here too it is a dirt road with gentle slopes, which from the rest area in locality Nicampi becomes a beautiful single trail until reaching the small church of San Nicolò. The third part explores the beech woods at the western edge of the Bardineto territory.
