🌿First chestnut trees, then hornbeams and finally beech trees, while from Castagnabanca we climb the shady side of the Scarincio Valley.
The large logs of the matricines make their way through the rocks as we climb into the realm of squares.
Two relaxation stops along the way: one with your feet in the river and the other at the Pian delle Bosse refuge, where a slice of cake is recommended!
📍 Meeting point and times
- Meet: at 3:00 PM at Castagnabanca (parking at the beginning of the dirt road at an altitude of 450 m); meet in Loano for those without their own transportation (limited parking).
- Return: approximately 7:00 PM
