TREKKING: FROM THE BEACH UPWARDS – FINALE LIGURE
🌿From Finalpia Abbey, we reach the wayside shrine of the Madonna del Monte and, from there, make our way through the olive groves to the hamlet, with a splendid view over Finale; we pass through the covered alleyways and begin our descent along the direct ‘via del mare’ route to General Caviglia’s mausoleum.
The return journey, depending on how tired you are, can be either along the seafront or by climbing back up behind the ‘Castelletto’ to the narrow streets of Pia.
